Visage basic and undermined by onlookers
What was so great to you has lost its meaning
It isn’t enough
You need everyone else to put their hand in your pot
Stirring your kettle, turning your soup to sick
Not content with your own ideas
But also afraid to seek comment
You’re basic and lost
Saline slop sloshing around
In a perpetual motion gimmick
Making chop waves
Promoted by slimy elites
Coveting their every word
Because success is tangible outside your eyes

Net Migration
emoted
burst your bubble
and fell into your safety net
but the thread was all dried out
from lack of use
so you fell straight through
and into the thick of it
now you're wrestling with black bears
and scrounging for food
waiting for trains that never come in the wilderness
If the tracks aren't there
then you have to make your own
burst your bubble
and fell into your safety net
but the thread was all dried out
from lack of use
so you fell straight through
and into the thick of it
now you're wrestling with black bears
and scrounging for food
waiting for trains that never come in the wilderness
If the tracks aren't there
then you have to make your own

revisit
if you are afraid to think these things
and talk about them
then I don't want to listen to what you have to say
my soul was clipped a long time ago
and since then I've felt nothing
my heart fled to my feet
turned dark and poured out onto the asphault
seeped down through the cracks
and into the earth
hoping that it would be renewed
I continued to lie to myself
perpetual reanimation is a far cry
from the reality of it
and talk about them
then I don't want to listen to what you have to say
my soul was clipped a long time ago
and since then I've felt nothing
my heart fled to my feet
turned dark and poured out onto the asphault
seeped down through the cracks
and into the earth
hoping that it would be renewed
I continued to lie to myself
perpetual reanimation is a far cry
from the reality of it

META
wasted thoughts
on trivial matters
means nothing to me
I’ve already died a long time ago
place into a machine
to turn the gears
and fall into my place
throw a wrench in it
so many moments to yourself
where you've had an epiphany
in introspect your retrospective self
is so old now
past your time
piecing a parachute ball back together again
so many scattered parts
spread so far apart
in a field, a hill with a pond
what's this trip again
wandering brain
moving onto a blue sky
with a green hill
and a slowly moving cloud
shaped like a diamond
wind blowing seeds around like helicopters
chasing them down
sticking them on your nose
dug your hand into the dirt
pulling up the soil
the stains on your fingernails
prove that you're not afraid
after the fact
zoning in on the effect
drifting into the cosmos
the blanket sky
where holes poke through
to see the light beyond yourself
deeper and unresolved
the finite seems long gone
with a naked eye
and a naked brain
everything in fours
separated by space
beneath your consciousness
sleeps a greater hope
solstice and changes
are second to none
letting yourself out like a dog
floating along beyond a distant memory
constantly arriving at the same point
colored with excitement
celluloid visage cornered by population
forcing something out of you you can't possibly accept
that everyone is connected somehow
in some way
seems so far fetched
granular integrated
chemical separation
indeed it is the work of something greater than yourself
by chance
so profound and enlightening
fluorescent god
fraudulent host
a fight for a ghost
that never ends
on trivial matters
means nothing to me

preparing for baltimore and experimental coding
So we're currently prepping our next two Baltimore weekends. We have a lot of ideas, some solidified, some not. All are weird when comparing to anything we've done previously, which is a good thing.
Other than that, I'm getting back into coding a bit as of late. Working in C++ with game programming and messing with the arduino board to create experimental LFOs to control functions in effects pedals. Pretty interesting and instantly gratifying stuff, as it doesn't take much to come up with some random math values and listen to see what sort of waveform it generates.
I think the next electronics project will be an analog VCF for my guitar using a couple LM13600's and programming the arduino to have multiple waveform choices for LFOs, as well as the usual envelope follower. Maybe I'll even write LCD output code for it. But probably not because I'm lazy.
If you've read this far, then you and I have similar interests, and everyone else can go fuck themselves.
love,
charlie

more recordings and fun times
yes yes yes, fun times are at hand. We're currently working on a number of tracks, and have at least 3-4 songs done or nearly complete....entering a somewhat experimental phase once again with sounds and instruments and progressions. Should be interesting, or terrible. Either way, different than anything we've done for sure.
